This is an important watercolor painting. Gregory Strachov was waiting to go to the hospital for five radiation treatments for the portion of the brain tumor that was not removed after two 13 hour surgeries. The small remaining portion of the tumor began to grow and was very close to the spinal chord. Further growth would have ended the artist’s life. The radiation was very close to the spinal chord and a special mask had to be made to hold the artist’s head very still in order to target the tumor accurately. To prepare the emotions for this treatment, the artist began and completed this painting. It provided a total concentration level and permitted the artist to remove himself from serious worry of the medical concerns. The painting was a tremendous success on all levels. It is a 30” x 22” original watercolor, and it is framed and museum matted in a beautiful appropriate frame. If you are seriously interested in this painting, please contact the artist regarding the shipping considerations. This painting is truly a “New Beginning”.
